How to pay your bill
Costs not covered by insurance will be billed to you. Payments may be made in the Billing Department between 8am and 4pm. The Billing Department is located on the lower level of the building. Payments may also be made 24/7 at the Registration window on the main floor. For your convenience, payment can be made by check, cash, money order or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). You will be billed separately for Professional Services such as those provided by the emergency room, anesthesiologist, radiologist or cardiologist. Ellenville Regional Hospital Patient Finance Department is dedicated to making it as easy as possible for patients to pay their bills. Here’s how:

We are here to help
Our staff sees themselves as advocates for our patients. We can act as a liaison between you and your provider, and the Hospital and your insurance company. We want to ease the financial burden for our patients. We are always courteous and believe that it is our job to be kind, understanding and put ourselves in your shoes.
If you have financial hardship
For those who cannot afford to pay all or part of their hospital bill, ERH implements a Federal Funding program, Charity Case for Financial Hardship. You may qualify for up to a 100% discount. Download the Financial Assistance Form (Click here for Spanish. Click here for English), fill it in and come and see us. We would much rather you apply for the help you need, rather than have to turn your bill over to a collection agency. Please do not hesitate to ask for help. If you do not have any insurance and you are unable to pay for services, please contact the Ellenville Regional Hospital Credit and Collection Department at (845) 647-6400 ext. 322 to discuss program eligibility requirements and/or payment arrangements.
We have staff members fluent in English/Spanish, or we can help you access the Language Line Interpretation service.
