Healing Arts Gallery

Enjoy the healing power of art

The Healing Arts Gallery at Ellenville Regional Hospital is a unique place that brings art into the healing process.  As Florence Nightingale wrote in 1860 about the effect of “beautiful objects” on sickness and recovery:

Little as we know about the way in which we are affected by form, by color and light, we do know this, that they have an actual physical effect.

The Healing Arts Gallery provides ERH patients, staff and visitors with a new and refreshing view of the work of our talented local artists . Stop in whether you come in to the hospital for an appointment, to visit a patient, or to visit our Gift Shop.  It is  peaceful, beautiful, and good for the head and heart. Check our events calendar for information on our upcoming exhibitions.
