The Physical Therapy Department at Ellenville Regional Hospital is an energetic unit where physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists and physical therapist assistants are united in the common goal of restoring functionality to patients who have temporarily lost it.

We help establish the cause of a patient’s impairment, work with them on goals and ending or reducing their discomfort. Listening and communication are some of our most important skills. Your first visit will be a one-on-one hour of discussion and problem solving. Our highly qualified therapists see their job as being your coach and help you find inspiration to fix your own body through an individualized program of treatment, movement and information.

Getting you moving and back into life

Attitude is everything! Our staff will coach you to give a good effort and increase your functional capacity, carefully and steadily. This is a friendly, community atmosphere and we all see transformation on a daily basis. Physical Therapy is open:

  • Mon / Wed     7 am – 8 pm
  • Tues / Thurs    7 am – 7 pm
  • Fri 8 am - 6 pm

Training new professionals

Transferring Physical Therapy skills to a new generation is part of our work. ERH PT Departments train students from Sage College, University of New England and SUNY Orange. Our Rehab Department also trains Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant students from SUNY Orange.
