The team then implemented procedures to shorten or eliminate these delays. This was accomplished as the ED patient volume increased by 36% between 2008 and 2009, Benchmarked against eight other small hospitals in the state, Ellenville Regional Hospital’s ED has the quickest turnaround time two years in a row for patients!

The awards event, which was held at the Marriott at LaGuardia  Airport, was held in conjunction with the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council (NSHC) and the Healthcare Trustees of New York State Association (HTNYS).
